Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury’s rematch on February 22nd gets predictions

Some of Boxing’s biggest names predict Deontay Wilder Vs Tyson Fury’s rematch

Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury’s draw in the first fight in December 2018 was pretty tight and 14 months on it’s pretty difficult to predict what will happen in the second fight, but some of boxing’s biggest names have given it a go.

Following the first fight Wilder and his camp were certain that the two knockdowns were enough to earn him the win, Fury believed he’d outboxed his American opponent and deserved the win. Each had a judge agree with him and the third scored it a draw.

On Saturday night the pair do it all again in Las Vegas and by the sounds of the experts the fight won’t be as close, with only David Haye going for the Bronze Bomber and 10 others going for Fury.

Of course both of the fighters are backing themselves. Wilder is expecting that this time he will catch Fury with enough power to end the fight, unlike in the ninth and 12th rounds in the first bout when the Gypsy King was able to get up.

The undefeated Brit expects the fight to be completely different this time round. “He was hurt a lot and I didn’t have the energy to punish him, this time I’m gonna take im out,” Tyson said, predicting a knockout.

Mike Tyson, who knows a thing or two about high profile heavyweight title fights, thinks ‘both guys will have something to prove,’ but backs the Manchester born heavyweight to be victorious, whilst Paulie Malignaggi thinks it’s a Wilder defect that will lead to the win for the lineal champion, saying that the Bronze Bomber won’t be able to close down the ring.

The only person who thinks it’ll go to the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist is Haye with the retired former cruiserweight champion saying Fury’s issues with the cut he got in the fight with Otto Wallin will see him struggle.

Whatever happens on Saturday night there’s a good chance they’ll be a third fight between them with Fury revealing that there’s a clause in their contract for another one.
