Jimmy Butler Scores season-high 38 as Miami Heat Hammer Philadelphia 76

Five-time All-Star Jimmy Butler, playing against the team that traded him last year, scored a season-high 38 points in just 29 minutes to lead the host Miami Heat past the Philadelphia 76ers 137-106 on Monday night.


It was the second-highest-scoring regulation game in Heat history, in which Miami shot 56.5 per cent from the floor, including 16-of-32 on three-pointers.

Butler made 14 of 22 shots from the floor, including 2-of-2 on three-pointers. He also made all eight of his free throws on Monday as the heat improved to 22-3 at home season.
